December has been an increasingly busy prelude to full-time ministry. Coming into Youth With A Mission, I am raising support, which can be quite stretching! I am so grateful to be able to invite others into ministry; and grateful to know that there is a team of people backing me up because they care about me and they care about the Lord. This month was a special time of listening to God, and just being with Him. Since I’ve been home from YWAM, I just haven’t chosen to lean into Him when I should. In the Lecture Phase of Discipleship Training School, we learned that feelings follow action. Even if I don’t feel like spending time with Jesus, as I read through Psalms these last few weeks chunk by chunk, the natural attitude of worship follows. Verses about being sent, God’s name, and worshiping Him have been jumping out to me and beckoning me further down the fern-lined, sunrise-y columns of Scripture. I’m very excited to go to Starville, Mississippi, and immerse myself in the Church again!
