April-Time

I have a short update, mostly because there hasn't been much different happening, lately. In the last few weeks, there have been very separate schedules.

The times when I am alone at home, when I think, pray, cave to Netflix, and write letters. I love the times of prayer, honestly. When I am faced with it, the time seems daunting; but in retrospect, it always seems rosy-hued.

There was the week of outreach after vicious tornadoes. It was good to do heavy physical labor again.

There have been times when the three of us are together at home, and we have our normal meetings, and bustle around with projects. I enjoy that very much, the conversation while watering plants, and familiar people around.

(Financial update: Up to approximately 75% necessary monthly support. Thank you, my faithful supporters and team members!)

And now, a moment of reflective words, that you don't have to read.

Time has caught its breath, and hand in hand with us, has slowed down. Suddenly still, the human is free to be small again, and to notice good. Now the human can lead Time by the hand, and together hang sheets up to dry in the early morning sunlight, and listen to laughter, and smell grass growing and rain rumbling. Thought is allowed to have rhythm, like a vinyl record on a turntable, crackling and humming and real. Deep down, the human heart does not want this time with Time to end.
